I was so excited to be leaving China and heading to Hong Kong especially for my birthday celebrations. We had to go through customs before we could get on the train meaning we technically left China 20 hours before we got to Hong Kong and there was no getting off at any of the stations en route. I got settled into my bunk only to be dragged out of it 10 minutes later by a snotty Chinese cow that ... read more

I am currently on a 2-year career break with the intention (and hope) of travelling as much as possible. After spending 3 wonderful months travelling round Africa including a climb of Kilimanjaro last year I am about to embark on my next adventure.
May 2009 I'm planning to travel from Russia on the Trans Mongolian train to Mongolia the China before heading to Hong Kong, Nepal, India and Sri Lanks. Then to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Borneo. I'd like to finish off with a month in Australia before back to reality.
