While the actual trip that I’ll cover in this diary begun on September 21st, the nature of the trip means that it begun in early spring this year. I’m going to the Philippines to perform field research for my Master’s degree in social anthropology. I will be researching the Reproductive Health Bill, a law that is being pretty heavily lobbied both for and against in the Philippines at the mom ... read more

Angående gnäll: om man läser min resedagbok kan det verka som om jag är väldigt gnällig. Att allt är dåligt vissa dagar, och ännu värre, att jag inte skulle tycka om japaner, eller Japan. Sanningen kunde inte vara mer annorlunda.
För det första så är jag rätt gnällig. Det vet mina vänner. För det andra har jag en förkärlek för elak humor, och det påverkar det hela. Men framför allt så har jag märkt att personer som vistas utomlands över lag inte får klaga av sig tillräckligt, och därför går runt och är mer eller mindre bittra över det som de inte tycker fung... full info
