Cairns Mein erstes richtiges Ziel, Cairns, liegt im nördlichen Queensland und wird allgemein als tropical beschrieben. Cairns selbst hat laut Reiseführer nicht viel zu bieten, ist aber der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten. Ich fand Cairns sehr angenehm.
