Summit ridge of La Ruinette
Pretty exposed (the photo really doesn't do it justice) - do you want to fall off the North side for an immediate death on rocks, or onto the snow slope on the South side for an exhilarating ride off the edge of the mountain?

Hi all. Am afraid that this will be a relatively long update (mainly for the benefit for the few of you who are interested in mountains - apologies for the rest of you!) So, the last two weeks have been spent trekking from Chamonix (France) to Zermatt (Switzerland), taking in as many peaks en-route as possible, via what's known as the Glacier Haute Route.
