Thursday brought another sunny and awesome work day. Our team has developed into cohesive subgroups that have learned to function more smoothly. Laughter is heard frequently, and our production is among the highest of any of the teams volunteering in Gliwice. Our interaction with the families is energizing as we daily work side by side to help them build their new flats. The cultural experie ... read more

From July 21-31, 2011, a team of 20 energetic and enthusiastic volunteers from all over the United States will travel to Krakow and Bielsko-Biala in southern Poland. As part of a Thrivent Builds Worldwide / Habitat for Humanity trip, we are helping upgrade a readaptation center which provides local medical and therapy assistance to over 2,000 people annually.
