Our team arrived bright and eager Monday morning to begin the work we traveled 5,000+ miles to do. After an important safety and security briefing, we met with the site supervisor, Damian, to receive our work assignments. This year's work will include pouring cement floors in each of the flats (apartments) and building the interior block walls according to the new owners' floorplans. We mix ... read more

Comment on Neil Takes Two!
From July 21-31, 2011, a team of 20 energetic and enthusiastic volunteers from all over the United States will travel to Krakow and Bielsko-Biala in southern Poland. As part of a Thrivent Builds Worldwide / Habitat for Humanity trip, we are helping upgrade a readaptation center which provides local medical and therapy assistance to over 2,000 people annually.
