We came in to Black River and find our friends’ place (who we met at Longreach) which is a farm with lots of cattle. He drove out to the gate to let us in, but it took 5 minutes for him to drive from their house to the gate. When we arrived at the house, we chatted and not long after I got Richard’s whip and cracked it. A bit later Mum and Dad let me undo mine and crack it too. The dogs we ... read more
