On the flight from Kota Kinabalu to Hong Kong, I couldn't get a certain song out of my head. It was from a cartoon I used to watch as a kid called Hong Kong Phooey. Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy. Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye. The song played over and over as we flew northwards, until it suddenly occurred to me that perhaps someone aboard the flight was called Phooey ... read more

My aim is to visit at least 100 countries before I'm incapable of travel anymore. (Current count is 85!). Unlike a lot of fellow travellers, I tend to only dip my feet into a country, quite often only staying a day or two before heading off somewhere else.
Country numbers 54 and 55 were my first trips alone - something I never thought I'd do.
