Well after a few health ailments I am heading back on the trail this weekend (27 July) to complete the Balquidder to Waitpinga section of the trail. After driving for more than 2 hours to reach the meeting point at Newlands Head I registered for the walk and mounted one of the 3 buses heading for the start point at the corner of Callawonga and Tunk Head Roads. Since I travelled to Indonesia to attend my friends wedding in 2000, I have taken every opportunity to seek out destinations which allow me to interact with the cultures and people and experience the wonders both natural and man made that the world has to offer. All my adventures have been planned and where possible arranged by me in the hope of avoiding tours and tourists where and when ever possible.
