20th June-20th July 2009 Our loooong bus journey (it was actually 33 hours) consisted of not many food stops but a bus load of very friendly, singing and slightly drunk Ecuadorians (Chileans and Columbians). We arrived in Quito (Ecuador's capital) at 7am and in our slightly tired state managed, for the first time in 9 months, to get ripped off by a very smiley taxi driver.
