The students have to keep journal describing their experience. I thought you might want to read what one student wrote of her expereince after visiting the War Memorial in Canberra. "Splashes of color lined the names of those who gave their lives, red poppies stained by the blood they freely gave. As I stook there in the silence, soaking it all in, I was amazed. Hi, I am Bambi Edwards. Lori Blaney and I are delegate leaders for People to People for 2010. Together we are going with a delegation of 17 students to Japan this summer. We will be merged with a delegation out of Rocky Mount. We are currently getting ready for our travels by studying the history, geography, food, art, and customs of Japan.
