Boarding the Irkutsk to Ulaan Baatar train I was delighted to find I was sharing the compartment with 2 english students hannah and George. Since I hadn't been to bed I soon crashed out sleeping several hours into the journey but unfortunately missing what I am sure was fantastic views of Lake Baikal. I am currently on a 2-year career break with the intention (and hope) of travelling as much as possible. After spending 3 wonderful months travelling round Africa including a climb of Kilimanjaro last year I am about to embark on my next adventure.
May 2009 I'm planning to travel from Russia on the Trans Mongolian train to Mongolia the China before heading to Hong Kong, Nepal, India and Sri Lanks. Then to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Borneo. I'd like to finish off with a month in Australia before back to reality.
