One of the few places I could take a picture without being harrassed by the old babooshkas watching over the exhibits.

The Russian bureaucratic process was immediately evident as our bus from Helsinki to St. Petes was held up at the Russian border for over an hour while the driver sorted things out with the officials. I didn't know it at the time but this was a sign of things to come in this lovely country. Out of all the countries I've visited on this trip, Russia has got to be the most difficult to enter. Comment on Mummified Body
We are off to Southeast Asia!! It is Svetla's first trip "East", actually west from Canada, and the third time for me. We plan to visit Hong Kong for 3 days, then Indonesia for about 7 weeks before Malaysia and Southern Thailand for the remaining couple of weeks. We are pretty excited (and nervous) but all in all it should be a great adventure and we expect to have fun exploring some exotic areas of this marvelous world.... full info
