ANZAC (Australia New Zealand Army Corps) Day, 25 April is celebrated (like our Memorial Day) as a remembrance of those that died and those that served their country. The date is that of the ANZAC invasion at Gallipoli in Turkey during WW I, when both countries lost thousands of their sons in a war a long way away. This is the War Memorial at dawn.

Since the boys left about a month ago, we have been a bit sluggish...we miss them so much, and are working our way back home...less than two months.
