After touring the castle, we stopped off for lunch at a cute, traditional restaurant, whose eating area overlooked a small zen garden. This is Okinawan soba, which is made with thicker noodles and pieces of pork. Apparently, all parts of the pig are traditionally used in Ryukun cooking, but thankfully I only got the best tasting parts in this soba!
