Although we were scheduled to go to Lhasa, Tibet, due to the current political turmoil, the itinerary was changed for travel to Lijiang and Kunming in the Yannan province. The Banyan Tree resort in Lijiang was the best hotel we stayed yet. We had a private villa with a Jacuzzi and view of Snow Mountain. We visited a village of teh Naxi people taht has existed for several centuries. We then watched ... read more
