Well, my dears, here is the situation. It is nine oclock in Litang, a wild west tibetan town and I have forty five minutes to get something written in this totally dark internet cafe where I cant see the keyboard which is temperamental. Life is going so much faster and more intensely than writing. I have the laughing monks to deal with and the big surprize of today, more destined encounters. Kham ... read more

I am a 72 year old psychiatrist always interested in traditional and village life. Past travels have been to the minority villages in Yunnan Province, China with Marty Newman and India, Bhutan, Kenya, Turkey, Nepal Guatemala, Mexico and various European Countries with my wife who I will be meeting in India at the end of this trip.
