A cardinal who owned the mansion about 100 years after Shakespeare's death got sick of all the people staring at his house so he tore it down. The townspeople ran him out of town.
Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon

One of my friends and I signed up for a guided tour to Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare which is about 2 hours north of where I live by bus.
