Gust O'Wind is back on the hard for the summer. That is hard for us to deal with - winterizing the boat has been a routine in September for the first 8 years - this is the first experience of summerizing her. Since our last report we returned to Cayo Costa for 5 really good days to wind up our season. The fishing was successful - finally! - thanks to some good advice from a fellow cruiser fro ... read more

We are retired school principals (Peel, Ontario - Canada). Our fair weather home is at Sauble Beach at the base of the Bruce Peninsular.
We have a CS 34 sailboat that we have sailed from Lake Ontario to Wiarton, where we enjoyed 7 great seasons sailing around Georgian Bay and the North Channel.
In October 2008 we trucked "Gust O'Wind" to Deltaville, Virginia - planning to take her south to the Florida Keys and perhaps the Bahamas.
This blog will help those interested in our travels track our progress.
