The original Alice Spring

Erm not much of a spring just a tiny patch of stagnant water. Dunno how they lived out there with nothing around for 2000km? Also the original telegraph station of Alice Springs is here (well behind where the pic was taken from rather than in the pond) where Mr and Mrs Gorm will have their Ozzie wedding blessing.
