The Sea of Cortez is a great area for whale watching. The whales travel every year from Alaska down to Mexico, they love the Bay of Magdalena as they are a great feeding area. It is a well know calving area too. We drove up to Lopez Mateos to go on a whale watching trip. With memories of aching backs close at hand, we were happy to see that this excursion takes place inside a well protected b ... read more
