The "Green " Season
Colloquially known as the rainy season, the tourist industry spin-meisters think they fool more people into visiting by dubbing it the less dreary name, "green" season (the locals call it winter). It's a little hard to see in this picture, but here's the view from our front door of the rain coming down pretty hard. In the distance you can see the brighter sky that was overhead just 10 or 15 minutes earlier.
