It was our last full day in San Diego before heading north to LA to catch the plane to NZ. We decide to go to Balboa Park - we'd seen it in guidebooks and heard about it but weren't sure exactly what it was, however it was right next to the zoo so at least we knew where to go. We manage to find a space in the increasingly busy carpark and follow a few people who seem to know where they are going. ... read more
