So the best part of travelling in Northern thailand has to be the scorpions. We were in a place called Pai, pronounced "Bye," a helpful peace of information before trying to book a bus ticket there, about 30km from the Burmese border. A year off with no job, kids or mortgage. Just towering backpacks and each other. Where to? Southeast Asia sounds like a good place. But first we'll cross Canada from our home in Vancouver to Halifax. We'll make sure Elli the cat has a nice place to stay. Then it's on to Toronto for Xmas and Glasgow, Scotland for New Year.
