It's been a while since we've had a blog. Life has been fairly quiet lately and a lot of time has been spent in Vancouver. We had hoped to go to Nova Scotia at Christmas but that plan soon got squashed by over 50cm of snow falling in Vancouver which is a rarity. Add that to snow in Halifax and the fact that it's the busiest travel time of the year and you get the idea that going stand by defini ... read more

A year off with no job, kids or mortgage. Just towering backpacks and each other. Where to? Southeast Asia sounds like a good place. But first we'll cross Canada from our home in Vancouver to Halifax. We'll make sure Elli the cat has a nice place to stay. Then it's on to Toronto for Xmas and Glasgow, Scotland for New Year.
