Another freezing day awaited us this morning as we toured the farm houses of the Hokkaido University (北海道大学). The snow-capped buildings and chimneys reminded us of those structures found in Europe. Growing up listening to the music of The Carpenters, he decided to name this blog Budokan in remembrance of their Live in Budokan Tour at his all-time favourite destination, Japan in May 1974.
