We arrived in Chiang Mai yesterday afternoon after a 90 minute flight from Bangkok. Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second largest city, is in the rural northwest and our hotel was about a 40 minute cab ride from the airport. We're finally on our way to Thailand ... We start in Bangkok, then on to Chiang Mai, before landing in Phuket (plus a day in Tokyo on the way home), and we'll try our best to update daily to share some of the stories and scenes we come across.
