To look into the eyes of ‘Princess’ - a rescued and rehabilitated Orang Utan in her home environment was a spine tingling, magical experience. January 2011 finds Colin and I back in Thailand we have swapped the grey skies of the UK for the blue of Thailand. I am here embarking on my new career as a tour operator. Seven ladies are with me and we are travelling from Bangkok to Chiangmai taking in the cultural and heritage sites (not beaches) on route. We plan to end up in NE Thailand in the province of Isaan staying near one of the Joe Homan projects (Nampong Boys Town) where we will bewilder and baffle the poor boys as we attempt to befriend them.
