Dec 2. A big day like yesterday ensures a great nights sleep. Today I will take it a bit easier and set my sights on some campsites around the Itchetucknee Springs State Park, its sunny again but the forecast is for a sharp frost in this area. I dont mind the cold so long as it does'nt rain while I'm camping. The sun may be shinning but temperatures remain in single figures (celsius) so I have to ... read more

I am a 47 year old ex pat Scot living in the Canary islands, Tenerife to be precise. I have been a travel addict for many years, taking the family holidays in places like Cambodia, Peru and Senegal. Last year I was so impressed on an RV tour of the Western USA that I decided it would be fun to do a solo cycle trip from coast to coast across America. It will be a challenge , but anyone who knows me will know that I thrive on challenges.
