Nov 26 I aim to be in Tallahassee by the time the rain comes again on Friday and the only viable camping area between here and there is in Chattahoochee on the banks of Lake Seminole and the Apalachecola river. Its a short journey so there is no need to set off early. If they were not closed on Tuesday and Wednesday I would have visited Florida Caverns State Park. I am a 47 year old ex pat Scot living in the Canary islands, Tenerife to be precise. I have been a travel addict for many years, taking the family holidays in places like Cambodia, Peru and Senegal. Last year I was so impressed on an RV tour of the Western USA that I decided it would be fun to do a solo cycle trip from coast to coast across America. It will be a challenge , but anyone who knows me will know that I thrive on challenges.
