This is how the royal family look at how the market was doing. And remember how I was saying that there are only jewellery shops on the bridge? Well, they used to be butcher shops but because they would throw waste into the river, that just to stop that happening and only jewellery shops are allowed along the bridge.

Got up really early today to beat the crowd but also beat the museums too. Nothing open until 9.30am at least. Visited the Palazzo Vecchio and and Palazzo Pitti. There is a passage way running over, street connecting from those two palazzo. Reason for them to be able to walk around and see the city without the security. In front of the Palazzo Vecchio, originally there stood David, but ... read more
