After crossing the border into Argentina and Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, we reached Lago Frias. Whilst we had our passports stamped, we used the bathroom facilities and had an opportunity to sample the famous chocolate caliente. I never tasted such yummy hot chocolate and look forward to more of it once I am in Barlioche. We took our second lake crossing from Puerto Frias to Puerto Blest. ... read more

My name is Dawn and I live Leeds, in the UK. I love travel and travel loves me!
I was in Argentina in at the end of January and most of February 2011 where I visited Buenos Aires and also travelled around Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia. In May that year I went on my first ever cruise where we sailed from Corfu Town up the Adriatic Sea visiting Montenegro, Slovenia, Italy and Croatia.
My next big trip is planned for December 2014 where I plan to travel around South America for six months!
