Today we went to Granada. The trip there was about two hours on the highway here. A pretty serious climb into the mountains from the coast, followed by a whole lot of olive orchards. I was pretty tired, because I finally had the jet-lag issue--up at 5 and unable to sleep. UGH! Today was the most beautiful day we've had. The weather was so perfect! Brad (the soft-hearted dad) and Tucker (the handsome 16-year old son) traveled to Beira, Mozambique on July 12-Aug 6, 2008. We went with Care For Life, a nonprofit organization HQed in Gilbert, Arizona. Most of our work was done in orphanages in the Beira area.
There are also some entries from a trip that Brad and Jenny (his beautiful wife) took to Spain and Morocco in October 2008.
