Hola de Peru! Huarez is incredible! Brij and I came here directly from the chaos of Lima- we were there for 2 hours and jumped on a bus for 9 hours to Huarez. It was brutal! It is amazing how poor this country is and how dedicated they are to farming and helping others. Everyone has been so friendly even offering us change to make a local phone call. Hola de Peru! Huarez is incredible! Brij and I came here directly from the chaos of Lima- we were there for 2 hours and jumped on a bus for 9 hours to Huarez. It was brutal! Follow us as we travel from Anchorage, Alaska to the Peruvian Andes to the depth of the Grand Canyon and to the winter wonderland of Tirol, Austria! Jeff is currently in Huaraz, Peru with our good friend Brij Potnis, and myself, Adrienne and JT Lindholm will join them in Cuzco on October 11th. From there we will travel to Lake Titicaca and Arequipa. Jeff and Brij will be in Peru until November 13th and the rest of us will return November 4th.
