Na Beijing en de Chinese muur is het tijd om het echte china te ontdekken. We zijn in de richting van Mongolie gereisd (Datong), een echte chinese stad, vies, regen, industrie etc... Ondanks dat we het niet eens zo'n erge stad vonden kwamen we hier voor de Yungang Caves die er net buiten lagen. Onze eerste kennismaking met de Buddha en meteen waren het er 50.000.
