The Top of Whitehaven Beach from Tongue Point

We used to tender to get to the beach and then walked to the lookout. You cant tell from this poor photo but Whitehaven is actually about 4-5 kms long and goes around the corner and finishes on the horizon on the left of the photo.

We left Bowen and headed the very short distance (108km) to another of our favourite spots, Airlie Beach.
