Wasp catcher

There is a severe problem with wasps in the area of Nelson Lakes. The wasps were introduced during the 2nd world war by accident in crates that were shipped here. So these traps are filled with poison laced sardine paste. Apparently the wasps love it, and they have a nibble then die shortly after.
