Most people I know have these dreams of doing exciting things or seeing exotic places before they die, be it packing fish in Alaska, watching the Moscow circus in Moscow, seeing a broadway musical, jumping off the bridge at Bloukrans or taking their first road trip down to Cape Town... I'm a South African Student on Exchange in Japan... I packed a ski jacket, surfboard and a pair of Chopsticks... I didn't bring previous knowledge of the language. We'll see where that leads me.
Since Japan I've been an ordinary SA student just plodding along making ceramics and getting a chance to see a bit of the world when I can.
