Amongst other things the solemn promise of 80 degree sunshine and cloudless skies every day lured me out to Minneapolis to visit Sky, a friend met travelling back in Santiago. Unfortunately, (especially given my frailties and love of hot weather) I arrived during the middle of an unusually cold snap with temperatures virtually identical to those I had left behind in England! Comment on Sunset over the Lake
Having graduated from University of Nottingham I started travelling and absolutely loved it. I did one trip around the world, then a second major trip through Latin America.
Unfortunately I'm back in the real world these days with one of those job things, but the wanderlust hasn't left and I still try to get away as often as possible.
