Dipping into the waters
The exact place where the two rivers meet - which you can see in this photo - is where you can dip into the sacred waters. There is a platform below the building you can see there (which is an elementary school) that serves as a jumping - or perhaps a gingerly stepping - off point. You hold onto a chain which keeps you from being swept away by the very strong current. Try it...but be fully dressed like the locals.
