(June 1st) Tindari was our second site visit on the weekend. This was a little farther away, so we stopped for lunch in Messina and went. Tindari is another Greek site with a theatre, and other ruins (temple, gymnasium, mosaics, Roman tombs). The city itself was of Greek origin, but the theatre is actually Roman construction. We had to park downhill from this area, and pay to get bused up. There w ... read more
