So, after Lima, we left at 4 am to go to Pisco by bus ( bout a 5 hour bus ride) to the bellestas islands, where we saw tons of birds (apparently there are about 60 types) and saw a couple of sea lions really up close. For those of you who don't know, I'm going on a little trip down to Peru for 3 weeks and then I'm off to Ecuador to volunteer on a biological reserve called La Hesperia, located in the cloud forest in the Andes. This is probably going to be my only form of communication with you guys, so feel free to leave me any messages! I'll try to reply back weekly (when I figure out how to work this thing ha).
