So luckily I managed to secure a 3 month visa extension, which means I can now stay here until early September. Pakistan continues to be a fantastic place to visit. Not just the mountains and scenery, but more the people and the culture. An example: Last week I made the 4 hour round trip to Gilgit to get my visa extension.
