Classes started on Thursday the second. The system here is “try before you buy,” giving students a chance to attend classes before they decide which to take. By temperament, I am a traveler. I crave the freedom to roam, immersion into unfamiliar cultures, and spending my time working directly with people. In 2007 I started a one year adventure in Alaska that turned into five years in a blink of an eye. Alaska took me by surprise.
