June 7th was a great day. I got to hike Mt. Guimes (most of) with 3 other staff members from the outpost. The hike was from sea level to 1100+ meters. This was a steep hike the whole way up. Very scenic views at the top and throughout the hike. It took us 6 hours to hike up, and 4 hours to get back down. On the way up we would hike for 45 minutes to an hour and then take a 10 minute breather befo ... read more
