Jane Austen spent the last eight years of her life here at Chawton from 1809 - 1817), where she wrote Mansfield Park, Emma and Persuasion.

Yes, the weather has warmed up this past week or so - low to mid 20's and sunny. Great part of the world to be when the weather is good. We took our first road trip around the UK on the first weekend of May - 7 months after arriving...
