I tried looking for a part of the old wall- the original wall around ancient Shanghai. I didn't find it - but saw life in back lanes and alleys. Water comes from pipes on the outside of houses and I nearly walked into an outdoor public biffy. I was in the neighbourhood of the Yu Yuan Garden, so I stopped to find our tour group (I knew the approximate times of their itinerary). A ticket seller ... read more

I was conceived and born on two different continents. By the age of 30 I had lived in over 50 places. I think travel is in my bones.
This blog was started for my trip to China and Tibet. Maybe I can find a way to "backdate" and add my year of living in Tasiujaq, Nunavik (PQ), Canada.... full info
