I've negotiated my way around the subway system. Woo hoo! I was about to ask someone which way to the Huanpi stop and then realized it would be no different than in Montreal or NYCity. You find the line you need and then you either choose the right or the left side. The "next station" is clearly marked so it was a snap. I made a point of never using English - a phrasebook is an absolute MUST. ... read more

I was conceived and born on two different continents. By the age of 30 I had lived in over 50 places. I think travel is in my bones.
This blog was started for my trip to China and Tibet. Maybe I can find a way to "backdate" and add my year of living in Tasiujaq, Nunavik (PQ), Canada.... full info
