I left the beach just at sunset and took an autorickshaw to Saravana Bahvan, a south Indian restaurant near my hotel (they have two branches in Toronto!). Unluckily, I got there just as they released a "smoke bomb" to keep the mosquitos down. It burned my nose and eyes... yikes ...
