Au Nang beach, Krabi
swimming there didn't appeal to me, it was rather muddy (especially when tide was low) and shallow for meters and meters.....
this particular beach wasn't good for swimming and that's why we decided to go to some nearby islands

Just to explain, the Thai use "same same but different" when dealing with tourists' questions. As this doesn't make sense if not fully explained it confuses (and very often frustrates) foreigners e.g. "why are you telling me that the tour you're offering today is same same but different to that tour tomorrow?!". it means "Yes, something kind of similar to that, but not the exact same thing" ju ... read more
